Anthony Flannery
BA; BArch; RIBA; ARCUK

Anthony is a Registered Architect (UK), Urban Designer, Strategic Planner, and Transformation Designer with over 25 experience leading architecture, urban design, urban regeneration, strategic planning, and community creation projects throughout New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Fiji.

Anthony is the Founding Director of Re-Imagine Ltd, a Total Design Company specialising in architecture, urban design, strategic planning, and transformation design. Prior to establishing Re-Imagine, he spent thirteen years as Design Director / Managing Director of Chow:Hill Architects.

Anthony’s strategic leadership and advisory roles have included Chairman of the Hamilton Urban Design Panel (2006-2018), national urban design adviser to Housing New Zealand’s National Asset and Investment Committee (2013-2016), and design quality adviser to Kainga Ora’s Construction & Innovation Group (2018-current).

Anthony is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and has taught in the Universities of Manchester and Liverpool (UK), and Auckland (NZ). Projects in which he has been involved have received over 50 regional, national, and international awards, and commendations.
