A comprehensive strategic planning study for a complex inner urban area comprising some four square miles of post-industrial mixed-use residential and workspace neighbourhoods.
The study examined existing and historic land-use patterns, changes in social structures and patterns of economic activity within North Liverpool and analysed their relationship to the continuing social and economic decline of the area. The outcome of the study comprised integrated and comprehensive redevelopment and community revitalisation programme of strategic initiatives and capital projects to be implemented and completed within the six-year programme of the North Liverpool Partnership.
