The award-winning city-centre campus redevelopment project for Waikato Institute of Technology comprising the incremental and strategically integrated redevelopment of a complex inner city tertiary campus.
Key to the redevelopment philosophy is the delivery of the strategic aspirations identified in Wintec’s award-winning Strategic Study including the transformation of what was acknowledged as a ‘dysfunctional and disconnected campus’ into an agile, attractive, vibrant and inspiring 24/7/365 “Living / Learning Learning Precinct”. Key elements of the project include the award-winning Wintec House, Wintec Hub, Wintec Atrium and Wintec CityGate projects as well as new student residential accommodation, “Business at Wintec” workspaces as well as new and repurposed teaching and learning spaces.
