Using a boldfive-part vision and innovative tools like the GIS-based Capacity Modelling Machine and theaccessible Simple Guide to design, the team dramatically increased the developmentcapacity of the Auckland portfolio by 40,000 dwellings, improved community integrationthrough blind tenure strategies, and influenced key outcomes in the Auckland Unitary Plan tofacilitate the development of world-class urban design, socially inclusive neighbourhoods, anda $4.5 billion uplift in portfolio value-delivering one of New Zealand’s most successfulhousing transformations.
